Most courses are designed to be aimed at adults but older children with an interest in cooking will be very welcome and included, if accompanied by an adult. They will be required to pay full price and will have their own set of ingredients and workstation. It will be the attending adults’ responsibility to ensure that the child behaves appropriately and is capable of getting the most from the course. If you want to discuss whether a specific course is suitable please feel free to ring or email us and we’ll happily chat through the course details with you. All children are different, as a guideline we would suggest age 13 and above. Anyone attending under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Some of our courses offer a reduced rate for a child attending with an adult. Every child attending at the reduced rate must have a full paying adult on a one to one ratio. The adult will work with the child with one set of ingredients between them. It will be the attending adult’s responsibility to ensure that the child behaves appropriately and to assist them in following instructions. These courses are intended to have children present and will work at an appropriate level. As all children are different, it is impossible to give a minimum age, but as a guideline we would suggest age 7 years and above.

Watch this space as we may offer courses for younger children in the future.
