Join us at Ground Up Cookery School in Chudleigh, Devon for a fun and practical 2-hour pizza cookery class. This relaxed, hands-on workshop focuses on simple techniques, quality ingredients and useful skills you can easily recreate at home.
You will make pizza dough from scratch, create a fresh tomato sauce, and learn how to make garlic butter for delicious garlic bread. During the class, you’ll cook and enjoy a freshly made pizza, then take home your own dough and sauce to continue the experience later.
This shorter cookery class is perfect for beginners, food lovers, families and anyone looking for a fun, practical cooking experience in Devon.
Children under 15 are welcome at half price when accompanying a full paying adult, making this a great family-friendly cookery class. Up to two children per adult, you will work as one group and make your pizzas and sauces together.

How is the session structured?
This fun and relaxed class is suitable for beginners and more experienced cooks alike. Courses are hands-on and interactive. Most recipes are prepared individually, with guidance and support available throughout. There will be a mix of demonstrations and hands-on cooking.
Can you cater for dietary requirements?

Can children attend this course?
Yes, this is a family-friendly cookery class.
Children under 15 will be half price and must be accompanied by a full paying parent or legal guardian, who remains responsible for them throughout the class.
Young people aged 15–18 may attend without a parent or guardian. A completed parental consent form is required for all attendees aged 15–18.

Do I need to bring anything?
Everything needed for the course is provided. Guests will be emailed approximately one week before the event with any final information.
There will be items to take home. We recommend bringing containers where possible.
What time will we eat?
You’ll enjoy your freshly cooked pizza at the end of the session. Tea, coffee and biscuits are available throughout the workshop.

What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
We operate a strict four-week cancellation policy. Cancellations or requests to reschedule within four weeks of the course date are not refundable. However, bookings are transferable and someone else can attend in your place.
