Have you ever wondered how to make the perfect, golden crusted pie?
Come and learn how to make pastry and the "perfect pie". This workshop is open to all ages and abilities. It is a great session for those wanting to learn key skills, increase their repertoire or just gain a bit more confidence in the kitchen.
The skills that you will take home include:
- knowledge of different types of pies and pastries;
- How to make shortcrust and suet pastry making;
- knife skills.
You will make your own shortcrust pastry and pie on the day, as well as learn from demos. The workshop will end with a delicious meal cooked by you, served with new found friends around our dining table.
If this is a gift a physical voucher can be purchased for first class post here or second class post here.
There are no age limits on our courses children are welcome if paying full ticket price and accompanied by a full paying adult.
This would make the basis of an excellent bespoke course for large groups and team days. If you wish to discuss further please get in touch.
Are children able to attend?
As with all our courses children are able to attend any sessions. When paying full price children will be treated as a full paying guest, but will be the responsibility of the parents and guardians. As all children are different, it is impossible to give a minimum age, but as a guideline we would suggest age 7 years and above.
